Accounts & access

You can create an account by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content (trips, photos) you upload. Only upload content you have the right to share. You control who can see your trips through your account's privacy setting and follow approvals.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the app to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload unlawful or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.

User content & community standards

Bouken lets people post content — photos, trips, profiles, comments, and messages. You are responsible for what you post, and you may only post content you have the right to share.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not post, share, or send content that is sexually explicit or pornographic, depicts or promotes the sexual exploitation or abuse of children, is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or violent, or that is otherwise unlawful. You may not harass, bully, impersonate, or abuse other people using the app.

You can report objectionable content or users, and block abusive users, from within the app. We review reports and remove violating content and the users who post it — typically within 24 hours — and we may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that break these rules. Content involving the sexual abuse of children is removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities.

Beta software

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during this beta, without warranties of any kind. Features may change and data may occasionally be lost; keep your own copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bouken is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend access that violates these terms.
